Preparation period for preparing documents for allocation of funds under Measure 3 “Investments in physical assets for processing of agricultural and fishery products from the IPARD II Programme“
The Agency for Financial Support of Agriculture and Rural Development hereby informs all interested parties, that as of today, is announced the Notification for a new Call under the IPARD Progarmme, more precisely for Measure 3 "Investments in physical assets for processing of agricultural and fishery products. The Public Call for submission of applications for allocation of funds under the V Component of the EU Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance for Rural Development (IPARD Programme 2014-2020) will be published in the second half of December this year. The Director of the Financial Support Agency of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nikolce Babovski, informs that as of today, and in the next period, to all parties interested for allocation of funds from the IPARD Programme, more precisely through Measure 3, Investments in physical assets for processing of agricultural and fishery products shall be given a preparatory period of minimum 30 days to obtain the necessary documentation for preparation of the applications for their submission under the IPARD II Program.
"The assistance provided by the funds under this measure will enable investments for processing and production of: milk and dairy products, meat and meat products (including eggs, poultry), fruits and vegetables (including mushrooms, potatoes and oleaginous crops), cereals, dairy products and starches, vegetable and animal oils and fats, must, wine and vinegar."- explains Babovski.
The Measure 3 "Investments in physical assets for processing of agricultural and fishery products" will enable purchase of machinery, equipment for processing of agricultural products (of vegetable and animal origin), as well as construction of new or refurbishment of existing facilities for processing facilities, with the objective of promoting the domestic agro - sector and achieving the EU standards. The details of the Public Call 02/2019 will be published additionally, i.e. in the second half of December and the Call will be open minimum 45 days from the date the Public Call has been published in the daily newspapers. All parties interested in applying for funding under the IPARD II Programme will need to prepare the necessary documentation and submit the applications once the Call for applications is published. The applications must be complete.
The method and procedure for allocation of funds under the IPARD Programme 2014-2020 are prescribed in the Decree. In the following period, and for the purpose of achieving higher public awareness for all interested parties, the teams from the IPARD Management Authority at MAFWE, the Agency for Financial Support of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Agency for Development of the Agriculture will hold IPARD info days and workshops where all interested parties will be able to inform and ask specific questions about the possibilities and the methods for allocation of these funds. The allocation of the European funds under the V Component from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance promotes and modernizes the domestic agro-sector, thus enabling increased production, quality and export of the domestic agricultural products.
