The Director of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nikica Bachovski, the Deputy Director Mr. Remzi Abdullahi and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Mr. Ljupco Nikolovski today have awarded the Decisions for measure 124 - infrastructure for access to agricultural land from the Program for Financial Support of Rural development 2022.

After the announcement of the Call published in 2022 were approved total of 34 projects submitted by the local self-governments with a total value of MKD 33,000,000.00. The granted financial support as well as the number of approved municipalities is significantly higher than the last Call for access to agricultural land when were approved 20 projects with total financial support of 16,300,000.00 denars.

"I am pleased with the fact that today have been awarded contracts that are almost double in number and value of financial support. A very important segment in the approval of the projects was to adhere to the principle of balanced regional development, and thus it can be noted that under the measure were included projects of municipalities from almost all planning regions”, said Mr. Bachovski. 

At the same time, the Director of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nikica Bachovski, emphasized that the Agency will continue to be a partner for all investments that mean improving the working conditions of the Macedonian farmers through investments in modernizing the machinery, equipping farms as well as investments in improving the infrastructure of the agricultural areas.
