The sector for direct payments in agriculture is responsible for implementing the measures for direct payments in the agriculture, the  measures for supporting the regions with aggravated economic conditions and the agro-environmental measures.

Bearing in mind the number and the scope of direct payment measures, for the purpose of simplified processing of applications for financial support in 2009, the reception of the applications for financial support and the first administrative control will be performed in the regional units of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management (in hereinafter referred to as RO), that operate in compliance with the work procedures provided by AFPZRR. THe applications received by the RO will be forwarded to ASFARD, which will perform further administrative control, authorization of payment of elligible and complete applications, as well as their archiving.
