AFSARD: The Agency has paid financial support to the small agriculture holdings

The Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development has paid financial support to the small agricultural holdings defined according to historical payments from the previous two years.

The Agency has paid 26.8 million denars to over 1400 Beneficiaries.

The amount of direct payments is determined as an average of the amount of approved financial support for direct payments under the programs for financial support in agriculture for 2019, 2020 and 2021, namely:

- For an approved average from 0 to 10,000 denars, are paid 10,000 denars

- For an approved average of 10,000 to 20,000 denars, are paid 20,000 denars

- For an approved average of 20,000 to 30,000 denars, are paid 30,000 denars

- For an approved average of 30,000 denars to 40,000 denars, are paid 40,000 denars

In addition, AFSARD has made payment for the Measure for assistance in premiums and insurance, for which have been allocated 98 million denars.

This Measure refers to financial support as a partial compensation of the insurance costs for agricultural production in the amount of up to 60% of the cost of the insurance premium, but not more than MKD 150,000 per beneficiary.

Furthermore, the Agency made another payment for produced and delivered milk for the period from October to December 2021. The Beneficiaries of this support, which amounts to 3.5 den/kg for delivered cow, ie 4.5 denars/kg for delivered sheep's and goat's milk, are the agricultural holdings that delivered the produced milk to the processing facility in the above-mentioned period.

With this payment, 332 milk producers have received a premium for the delivered milk with a total financial support of 11.8 million denars.
