AFSARD: The Agency has reimbursed the subsidies for earmarked sheep, goats and sows

 The Agency for Financial Support of the Agriculture and Rural Development today has reimbursed the direct payments measure for earmarked sheep, goats and sows.

The Beneficiaries of the measure for earmarked sheep are agricultural holdings that breed sheep that own at least 30 sheep of all categories registered in the Register of Sheep Farms. The total financial support amounts MKD 553.9 million for 2664 sheep breeders.

The Beneficiaries of the measure for marked heads of goats are agricultural farms for breeding sheep that own at least 10 goats of all categories recorded in the Register of goat farms. The total financial support amounts to MKD 53.5 million for 1439 goat breeders.

The Beneficiaries of the measure for sows are agricultural holdings that own at least 6 sows. The total financial support amounts to 9.96 million denars for 375 breeders of sows.

"With strong dynamics, we continue the payment for the livestock production measures. After the payments for poultry production, today we have also reimbursed the payment for the breeders of sheep, goats and sows. In addition, the Agency will reimburse the cattle breeders and beneficiaries who have registered bee families – emphasized the Director Bachovski.
